Attica, Ind. - Mrs. Kathryn Captolia Fisher, 85, of 508 E. Monroe, died at 7 a.m. today (Aug 19, 1969) in Williamsport Community Hospital. She had been ill since January and had been a patient in the hospital the past three months. Born in Indian Territory of Oklahoma Dec. 23, 1883, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Miller. She married Foster Cecil Fisher Aug. 3, 1902 in Rockville. He preceded her in death Oct. 25, 1957. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher moved to Attica from Rockville in August of 1910. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Attica-Williamsport United Presbyterian Church, Rebekah Lodge and Women's Literary Club. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Edythe Roag, Mrs. Kathryn Hatton, both of Attica, Mrs. Pauline Benson of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Edna Painter of Tipton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One son, Dr. Clarence Fisher, died in 1933. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday in the Roemer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harry Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
